Be an able manager in your organisation

Every company looks for the best manager who can be proactive and hence address the needs of their team. In other words, the best managers are those who take strong and positive efforts to build a team that can assure quality performance and nothing else. Winning the trust of employees is also necessary and then only, you will be ideally called a manager.

Keep your assumptions right – Being a manager, your responsibility would be to first know your employees to the core. You must know what lets them stay and work with your company, and what obstructs them from choosing to work elsewhere. Are they having good days or what they feel after an unpleasant week at office? Believe it or not, it’s not always money. So, try encouraging your employees as much s possible. If they feel that they need a break to spend some time at the gym or the library, allow them without hesitation. It really works.

Set organisational goals – A manager can never accomplish the organisational goals singlehandedly. Rather, his/her duty would be to ensure that all the employees are well aware of their work responsibilities. If they aren’t take initiative to make them realise so that they can execute them well and meet the organisation goals with ease and perfection. After they achieve the goals, give them proper feedback so that they can be inspired to give better performances.

Equip your employees – It’s not true that being a manager, you must do everything all on your own. Your job as a manager will be to train your employees how to do their jobs better. So, start giving your workers small tasks so that you can understand their strengths and weaknesses. Doing so, you will surely have an idea as who can be awarded the vital projects, and instead train those who would show inefficiency in their work.

Communicate with your team – Communication is the key to success for an organisation. The more you keep interacting with your employees, the better it is. On doing so, you will get to know their needs and wants that can help them improve the quality of work. Moreover, it’s sheer stupidity to be always formal with them. At times, you can take them on trips or to movie theatres, and you never know, they might feel more comfortable to approach you with their problems.
