Cridland, on a Labour Party Conference, spoke, “We are probably going to move into a period of consolidation-there are too many universities for our capacity to cope with them being separate.” He further said that he is not sure about the number of universities which might get closed but as the capacity of UK’s education policies have been overstretched, there will be a merger between the learning institutions. One of the major reasons, according to him, is also the increasing costs in the learning managements.

In Cridland’s view, there are few universities which are not able to cope up with the better ones. Hence, they lack in resources, admissions and this follows to low maintenance of the universities. So, he believes that a sensible consolidation might be a good option.

Now, we have all read about it and the learners must have already become quite tensed about their future. But for them, I have an alternative.
